COLOR TONER INSTRUCTIONS
ALWAYS refill in an area where you can tolerate a spill. Use
an area such as a workbench when refilling.
1. Remove three screws
on the side opposite
the gears.
2. Remove the end plate on
the side.
3. Remove one more
screw.
4. DO NOT lose the round
bearing part.
5. Remove the plastic
cap to expose the
filling hole.
6. Dump out any excess toner,
and pour new toner in. It is
always better to underfill
than to overfill a cartridge.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
HP 1500 / 2500 / 2550 cartridges require smart chips to be replaced in order for the printer to recognize the refilled cartridge as "new". You
should replace the smart chip only AFTER you refill the cartridge. DO NOT remove the chip after you have installed it.
